Switch to Bottle feeding

If you are trying to switch from breastfeeding to bottle feeding, I have a few pointers to tell you!
Two weeks ago I had to go back to work, and two month before that we started to get her to take a bottle. I have been breastfeeding all this time, and when we tried to give her the bottle she was refusing to take it no matter what we did. We tried so many different bottles and nipples!
After all the money we spent on different bottles and nipples, she finally took a bottle which we originally purchased, VentAire. Well, what happened was that I had to leave my daughter and her daddy alone home to go back to work even though she wasn't taking a bottle yet. So her daddy had to feed her with the bottle whether she liked it or not. Surprisingly, she didn't refuse it at all! I guess all we needed to do was for me to leave the house!
I heard from several people the same story that in order for a baby to switch from breast to bottle, mom shouldn't be in the house. Babie can sense their mommy by smell! That means dad or someone else needs to try to give a bottle to the baby. Another tip, my baby doesn't like cold milk. She stop drinking it when the milk gets cold. We always warmed my breastmilk pretty warm, though not too hot to burn the little mouth! Also we keep a big mug cup half filled with hot water to rewarm the bottle once the bottle gets cold.
One more thing, if you know you have to go back to work sooner or later, start feeding your baby once a day with a bottle from the beggining! My pediatrician recommended it too! We gave her a bottle for the first month, but after that we kind of stopped it...That was our mistake...
I hope this will help you!
Good luck!
